August 25            Troop Meeting – Board of Review (BOR)        BOR requires Class A uniform including shirt with correct badge of rank, pants, belt, scout socks if wearing shorts and Scout Handbook, summer camp MB completions 

Sept. 1             Troop Meeting (PP/PM) – FYS (First Year Scouts) complete physical fitness test

Sept. 8             Troop Meeting (CC?/PP) - knots and camping gear, FYS-one parent should attend

Sept. 11-13      Order of the Arrow (members only), Fall Ordeal @ Camp Bowers

Sept. 15           Court of Honor, 7:00PM, Fellowship Hall, Laurinburg Presbyterian Church

Sept. 22            Troop Meeting (PP) – Prepare to camp

Sept. 26-27      Troop Camping – McCoy Pond  (PP) – Sr. Scouts instruct camp craft, cooking, Tenderfoot requirements

Sept. 29            Troop Meeting – Highland Games program, instruction for Games service project (DH)

Oct 3               Scotch Fair Highland Games – service project, times to be announced

Oct.6               Troop Meeting (PP/PM) – FYS finish physical fitness test, Radio MB- Jewel Butler

Oct. 13           Troop Meeting (PP) – Prepare to camp and amateur radio, Radio MB – Jewel Butler

Oct. 16-18       Troop Camping Trip – Camp Monroe (PP) – amateur radio/jambo on the air

Oct. 20            Patrol Leaders Council Meeting

Oct. 27            Troop Meeting (PP) – finish Radio MB

 Nov.3             Troop Meeting – backpacking menus and cooking (HF)

Nov. 10           Troop Meeting  -   - prepare to camp       

Nov.14-15       Troop Camping Trip (PP/BP?) – Raven Rock State Park

All meetings begin at 7:00PM on Tuesday at the Hut, Uniform is Class "A" unless otherwise notified. Parents should attend all Court of Honor Meetings.  Attendance is taken at all troop functions.  Scout spirit is a big part of every advancement.  We look at 70% participation as the minimum effort for participation in troop activities.
